Abstract

This article intends to discuss the social historical formation of the white trash and middle strains of the white working class that have undergone proletarianization, providing means to understand their political organization in the conservative political cluster known as Alt-Right. We start by presenting a political definition to Trump’s government as neoliberla. The Alt-Right is composed of a variety of conservative groups and media expressing a variety of societal projects. Finally, the article will examine some of the philosophers and world views that inspire and have influenced the Alt-Right, such as Edmund Burke, Russel Kirk and the paleoconservatives, Hebert Spencer, and Julius Evola.
